Good morning readers!
I have a new cover today. Yay! It’s from Mark 14:62. There’s a lot that happens in Mark 14, but I will focus on verses 60-65. Here we have Jesus in front of a crowd and the high priest who are trying to find Jesus guilty for something, for anything but we read that they could not find anything. The way Jesus answers to the high priest and really the way He answers all questions in the bible is always so great. They ask him if he’s gonna give a testimony for himself but He does not answer. Then they ask Him, are you the Messiah? And Jesus says, I am, and you will the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty one and coming on the clouds of heaven. It goes on and tells us how the crowd and high priest respond which I cant get into because I’m short on time but please take time to read the passage below and read about what Jesus went through for us.
Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
63 The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. 64 “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?”
They all condemned him as worthy of death. 65 Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.
