I have a new graphic for you today. I am continuing the series of graphics with the names of God and their meaning. I need to think of a name for this series of graphics. Any ideas? Leave a comment below if you do. Anyway, I stumbled on a really great website when I decided to start this series, its http://www.hebrew4christians.com/ . It has a list of the Hebrew names of God and their meaning, so I’ve been going there to get names and meanings for this series. Todays graphic is Ben Elohim, which translates to The Son of God. That name is refrenced in multiple verses but the verse I chose to take from is Matthew 16:16 when Simon Peter declares that Jesus is the Messiah. The passage and graphic are both attached below! Enjoy!
Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
